Teenagers charged with GBH following Western Beach incident

Three teenagers have appeared before the Magistrates’ Court charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying an offensive weapon in public.

Eighteen-year-old Joseph Duo, 19-year-old Kian Pratts, and a 17-year-old juvenile are accused in connection with an alleged assault at Western Beach on the 19th of February.

RGP Response Team officers attended the scene after receiving reports of an assault and found a male juvenile with multiple injuries to his face and body.

The case has been adjourned until the 18th of May to allow legal representation to be appointed.
