Traffic advisory in Frontier area during EU-UK Treaty related ceremonial events

The government has issued a traffic advisory around the frontier area. Ceremonial events will be taking place in connection with the provisional application of the EU-UK Treaty on Wednesday 15 July 2026, between 11:00am and 1:00pm.
During this time, enhanced security measures will be operating at the approaches to, as well as within, both sides of the border area.
Members of the public are therefore advised, where possible, to avoid both pedestrian and vehicular entry to and exit from Gibraltar during these times, as delays and disruption may be experienced. Commercial traffic will not be affected and will continue to operate as normal.
The government apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
