GSD welcomes new Line Wall Road crossing

The installation of a pedestrian crossing on Line Wall Road has been welcomed by the GSD. 

Describing the light controlled crossing as long overdue, the Opposition highlights it raised concerns about safety in the area in Parliament two years ago.

It says the new crossing shows there was a clear and pressing need for a safer controlled crossing point back then. 

The GSD's Craig Sacrello says public safety should always take precedence over political point scoring or procedural deflection. 

He says this instance underscores the importance of raising community concerns both in Parliament and beyond.
