The Government says it expects to be able to publish guidance on treaty-related administrative arrangements for businesses on the 1st of June.
Number Six says the arrangements which will apply under the new framework are currently being worked through with its counterparts, including in relation to the practical processes that businesses will need to follow once the treaty comes into effect.
It held a meeting of the Business Transition Advisory Group as part of ongoing engagement with the business community ahead of treaty implementation in July.
The Government says the meeting provided an opportunity to update business representatives on the work currently underway, and also gave those representatives the opportunity to raise practical issues directly with the Business Minister and Attorney General.
Gemma Arias-Vasquez said she had also agreed to reconvene the Business Transition Advisory Group again in mid-May to provide a progress update on the work on administrative arrangements.
