UK minister Nick Thomas-Symonds says Gibraltar treaty will be published very soon

The UK’s Minister responsible for negotiations with the European Union, has said the UK-EU treaty on Gibraltar will be published “very soon”, describing the agreement as a “pragmatic” deal.

Speaking in Madrid at a business breakfast, Nick Thomas-Symonds, said the process is now nearing the point where the full legal text will be made public, allowing people to see exactly what has been agreed between London and Brussels.

He said the agreement is an important one for the whole region, and that it really was about Prosperity for all going forward. 

Nick Thomas-Symonds stopped short of giving any firm dates for when the treaty would be put before the UK Parliament for ratification.
