UK MP Sarah Sackman has described Gibraltar's multicultural community as “incredibly special".

The granddaughter of former Economic Development Minister Solomon Seruya, she won the London seat of Finchley and Golders Green at last year’s general election, highlighting her Gibraltar roots in her maiden speech in the Commons.

Attending the diplomatic reception at the Gherkin Tower last week, she told GBC the Treaty is vital to the Rock's economic stability in the future.
