University of Gibraltar receives Darwin Plus grants worth nearly £150,000
The Darwin Plus programme is a UK Government funding scheme that supports small scale environmental projects in UK Overseas Territories.
The University of Gibraltar has received two major Darwin Plus grants, worth nearly £150,000 for projects linked to our marine life.
Research Development Coordinator Amaia Fernandez, says this kind of funding is vital.
She was on Gibraltar Today, along with Darwin Plus Fellow Lili Hawkins, and Carolin Zofall, whose coral restoration project is continuing under Darwin Plus funding.
