Upper Rock renovations uncover ruins of 18th century defensive tower

Renovations in the area of the City Under Siege exhibition have uncovered the ruins of an 18th century defensive tower.

Wright Tech is leading on the project; it's believed the structure once formed part of the southern defences of Old Willis’s Magazine.

Managing Director and local historian, Chris Wright, told Gibraltar Today it was a privilege to tell the stories that are only now being revealed.
