The Cardiac Association has presented a rota-blator device to be used for heart procedures at the GHA.

The instrument is a highly advanced item of medical technology that uses a miniature surgical utensil, coated in microscopic diamond chips to remove hard plaque build-up from a patient’s arteries. It is also employed to clear complex coronary artery blockages

The purchase of the equipment was made possible following fundraising by the Association and a donation from the Kusuma Trust.
