Unite the Union and the GGCA unions say they've presented a joint front for a "meaningful" cost-of-living public sector pay increase.

A meeting took place this morning with the Chief Secretary after the Chief Minister excused himself, saying he had Brexit business to deal with.

The unions say their members are feeling 20% poorer than they did in 2019, some are struggling and are growing impatient.

They also raised concerns about pension caps and about private sector workers on low wages.
