Two migrants found at the detached mole have been ordered to return to Morocco

Police were alerted to the men after receiving a call from a member of the public.

When approached they were found to have no valid documents to be here.

The pair claimed they had been travelling on boat, with Spain being their intended destination.

They appeared in Magistrates' Court today and pleaded guilty to the charge of being in Gibraltar without a permit.

The Stipendiary Magistrate issued both men a conditional discharge and granted a detention and removal order.

They are being held in prison until their travel back to Morocco can be arranged.

They are scheduled to appear in court on the 19th December if they are still here.

Kevin Colombo acted for the defence. Kerrin Drago for the Crown.
