Education Minister expects new teaching posts to be filled during next academic year

Earlier this week, the Education Minister announced 49 new permanent teaching posts will be created.

With schools coming up to their summer break, John Cortes expects the posts to be filled during the first term of the next academic year.

Some of these positions will be filled by teachers who are have been working on a supply basis, in some cases for as long as four years.
