ESG welcomes removal of diesel-powered skid generators from new Power Station at North Mole

The Environmental Safety Group has welcomed the removal of diesel-powered skid generators from the new Power Station at the North Mole, describing it as a significant milestone for air quality in the area.

The ESG, which has monitored air pollution in Gibraltar for many years, said the generators had been costly both financially and in terms of pollution levels and progress towards climate targets.

The group congratulated those involved in bringing about the change, saying it would benefit all residents in the area.
