Further demolition & clearance works at frontier set to continue overnight

The frontier looked markedly different on Monday morning, with further demolition and clearance work set to continue overnight.

Canopies over the vehicle entry point and customs area have been taken down as work continues ahead of the planned removal of frontier controls next month.

The Gibraltar Government and Spanish authorities say measures are in place to minimise disruption and ease the flow of traffic through the frontier.

The new arrangements are due to come into effect on the 15th of July.
