The GEMA Gallery will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a three-month artist takeover by local collective Kitchen Studios, starting 1st October.

The programme includes workshops, performances, and exhibitions in the Montagu Bastion space, where the group first held an open studio session a decade ago.

In January, the gallery will reopen with a refreshed curation of modern works from the Government’s art collection, and in April, a new ‘Artist Corner’ will offer space for local creatives to exhibit and sell their work.

GEMA first opened in 2015 and continues to serve as a platform for contemporary art in a historic setting.
