Government announces introduction of new measures for PLET regulation

The Government has announced measures to regulate the use of Personal Light Electric Transporters - PLETs - including electric scooters, on the public highway.

At a press conference, the Minister for Transport said the Government was looking at regulation rather than an outright ban.
