The Department of Immigration and Home Affairs was closed to the public today following significant flooding at its offices on the second floor of Leanse Place.

The incident, which occurred on Saturday, has resulted in a temporary disconnection of power, making it unsafe for staff to operate from the premises.

The Department of Immigration and Home Affairs apologises for the inconvenience and thanks the public for their patience.
