Injured stingray spotted in Ocean Village

Gibraltar's waters are home to a variety of marine creatures and this week, an injured stingray has been spotted in Ocean Village.

The Nautilus Project says that these elasmobranchs are common in our waters, but upon visual assessment, the stingray seems to have an injured tail.

The charity added that it seemed healthy although swimming pattern is of some concern.

The public is advised to leave the animal alone as Nautilus are monitoring should intervention be required.
