Internationally acclaimed architect tells Gibraltar's construction industry to look to nature

An internationally acclaimed architect has invited Gibraltar's construction industry to look at solutions that exist in nature and try to copy them.

Michael Pawlyn told the Aspire conference this approach allows all sorts of building types to be rethought to use resources much more efficiently.

Environment Minister John Cortes said Nature and Biodiversity need to be integrated in urban planning and development.

He welcomed the keynote address by Mr Pawlyn, who advises national governments and large companies on transformative change.
