A local marmalade has won Bronze in the UK Dalemain World Marmalade Awards.
It's the first time Convent Chef, Tony Knott, has entered the annual competition which seeks to find the best marmalade in the world and raise money for charity. Tony competed among over 3000 entries.
The ingredients were entirely home grown: Oranges from the Convent Cloister and lemons from the former ADC, Major Dominic Collado's garden.
Jars were made for the Convent Garden Open Day this week and a further batch will be sold at the Convent Christmas Fair in November.
No doubt Sir Ben and Lady Bathurst will also be enjoying the award winning spread on their breakfast toast.
