Local schools take part in online quiz hosted by historian Christopher Lloyd

Five local schools are going head-to-head this week in a live online quiz hosted by historian Christopher Lloyd.

Loreto Convent, Prior Park, Bayside School, Bishop Fitzgerald School and St Bernard’s Upper Primary are taking part.

Heats run daily until Friday’s grand final.

There’s £250 for the overall winner and £750 for their school.

And each school has also received a copy of the Britannica All New Children’s Encyclopedia to help students prepare.

The event is organised by Cultural Services and sponsored by the John Mackintosh Educational Trust, and follows the success of a similar online quiz held in 2021.
