Members of the Airport Fire and Rescue Service feel Unite has thrown them under the bus in its defence of the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service and its ongoing claim.
They are requesting a public apology from the Union.
This according to notes from a meeting between Unite and AFRS members, seen by GBC.
Members of the Airport Fire and Rescue Service maintain the public defamation of one government department during this dispute is unacceptable and has resulted in unnecessary humiliation and reputational harm, not only to AFRSpersonnel but also to the Government as a whole.
The Union denies having made comparisons between both brigades.
