The Police Commissioner and the chair of the working group on reform of RGP governance have attended a UK event bringing together policing leaders from across the UK and British territories.
Owain Richards and Samantha Sacramento attended the gathering organised by the UK National Police Chiefs Council and the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners.
It looked at best practice, current challenges, and future priorities in policing.
Among the issues discussed were national approaches to reducing violence against women and girls; strengthening community safety; digital data and technology; and officer and staff well-being.
The RGP says both Mr Richards and Ms Sacramento exchanged views with police chiefs and officials from other jurisdictions.
It says they discussed comparative models of accountability and governance, and how these could inform further work on the Rock.
After the conference, Owain Richards also took part in a series of meetings at Gibraltar House with the Government's representative in London, and held separate discussions with the Chiefs of Police from the UK Crown Dependencies at the States of Jersey offices.
