The RGP is reviewing allegations that suspects and their lawyers were being secretly recorded at New Mole House, after a pinhole camera was discovered in 2015.

Speaking on last night's Viewpoint, Police Commissioner Owain Richards confirmed the request had come from the Chief Minister. However, he declined to comment on further investigation.

The Commissioner also said in order to deliver an effective and modern police force, the RGP requires further investment.
