Three people have been hospitalised for food poisoning recently, with two cases of salmonella and one of campylobacter.
The Health Authority says all three food poisoning patients have made a good recovery - and that the GHA, Public Health and the Environmental Agency are trying to identify if there is a common source, and prevent further illness.
To minimise the risk, the GHA is stressing the importance of safe food handling.
This includes: thoroughly cooking poultry, meat and eggs; using a cool box for meat when returning from the supermarket; and using separate utensils and cutting boards for raw and cooked foods.
You should also wash your hands thoroughly before and after handling food; refrigerate perishable foods promptly; and avoid leaving cooked foods at room temperature for very long.
If you do have salmonella symptoms, like prolonged diarrhoea, stomach cramps, vomiting, and fever, you can contact 111 for advice.
