Two Spanish residents remanded in custody; charged with importing 284.5 kilos of cannabis resin

At the Magistrates Court, two Spanish residents were remanded in custody after being charged with importing 284.5 kilos of cannabis resin.

Leopoldo Otero Moreno & Pedro Alexis Bermudez are charged with importing the controlled drug into Gibraltar on the 22nd of April.

They face counts of importation, possession and possession with intent to supply the class B substance.

The matter was adjourned to the 30th of April.
