Woman denies defrauding her employer out of more than £8,000

46 year old Charine Gomez of Mid Harbour estate has been charged with multiple accounts related to alleged fraud.

Ms Gomez is accused of dishonestly abusing her position while working as a waitress and bartender.

Between January last year and September this year, she stands accused of processing unauthorised refunds and illegally transferring out more than £8,000 in this way.

Ms Gomez has indicated a plea of not guilty and will next appear in court on December 16th.
