Yellow alert for high temperatures between Sunday and Tuesday
A Yellow Alert for high temperatures will come into effect tomorrow, Sunday.
The Government says maximum temperatures of 31–33°C are expected between Sunday the 9th and Tuesday the 11th August. It says the alert will be reviewed and could be extended.
The public reminded to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during the hottest part of the day, and check in on vulnerable family members, friends and neighbours.
