Fabian Picardo has defended bringing the whistleblower disclosures to Parliament claiming they involve potentially serious human rights abuses.

He said these were matters that still needed to be resolved, now that the Inquiry is over.

On the issue of the pinhole camera discovered in an interview room at New Mole House, he described this as worse than shocking. The Chief Minister said there needed to be redress to those in prison who were found to have been impacted by any covert recording.
