The Department of Education is now accepting applications for the 2026/2027 Scholarship Awards.

Applications for new awards must be submitted by Friday, 5 June.

Students applying for a Continuation of Existing Award are encouraged to send in their forms as soon as possible.

Students who finished their A Levels or Level 3 studies last year, or are taking their exams this summer and intend to go on to undergraduate studies, have until one minute to midnight (23:59) on Friday 5th June to submit their School Leaver Form A application forms.

The deadline also applies to new funding applications for Postgraduate, Discretionary and new Distance Learning  applications.

Late applications will not be considered and funding will not be approved.

All students must meet the eligibility criteria, but the Department of Education highlights that the application process itself does not guarantee future funding. Students are advised not to enter into any financial commitments until they receive an official response from the Department, which is expected as from the 29th June.

Those applying for a Continuation of Existing Award are advised to do so once they have successfully completed the current academic year, and as soon as they receive their transcript of results and university progression letters. This way, they can secure their funding at the earliest opportunity, .

The same applies to those completing Distance Learning Courses and Foundation years.

All forms can be sent in via education.gov.gi.
