GHA urges close contacts of Kent meningitis cases to seek vaccination & antibiotics

The GHA is calling on close contacts of Kent meningitis cases, or anyone who attended the affected nightclub there, to get in contact for vaccination and antibiotics.

The Health Authority has already been in touch with most Kent/Canterbury university students, but asks any others to come forward.

In answer to GBC questions, the Government says there have been no confirmed cases of meningitis in Gibraltar related to the Kent outbreak or otherwise.
