The Mental Health Board's Annual Inspection Report for 2025 has been tabled in Parliament.

The Government says the report assesses mental health services across Gibraltar, from in-patient care at Ocean Views to supported accommodation and mental health provision for young people.

It says the report reflects progress in a number of areas, and also puts forward recommendations for further development: including on workforce planning, assisted living provision, community-based care, and future service configuration.

Number Six says it gives particular attention to the continued development of the new model of care in mental health services, and the wider direction of reform.

The Government says it will now review the report together with the GHA, to ensure recommendations that could improve patient care are properly considered.
