Pancreatic cancer survivor celebrates 10 year milestone
In 2015, Louis Baldachino was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer and given just six months to live.
He was rushed to Pamplona for treatment, but the cancer didn’t respond, until he was offered a place on a clinical trial that changed everything.
Today, ten years on, Louis is defying the odds.
According to Cancer Research UK, just 1 per cent of patients with his diagnosis survive beyond three years.
Louis is one of the rare few, and he is thriving.
