SCHOOL HOURS: Parents voice concerns about childcare and impact of fewer school attendance days

Speaking on Viewpoint last night, parents Abigail Gomez and Janieve Buhagiar said they were blindsided and shocked by the news that changes to school hours would be implemented within weeks, raising concerns about childcare and the impact of fewer school attendance days.

However, retired teacher and ex-chair of the Gibraltar NASUWT, Charlie Bishop, said the changes would help prevent teacher burnout, while gcse student Arianna Gianani said students should have been consulted.
