The Minister for Public Disclosures, Sir Joe Bossano, says he has been contacted by whistleblowers and their families, many of whom he says are relieved their concerns are now being aired publicly, despite having gone through difficult periods.

This follows a motion in Parliament where the substance of the whistleblower allegations was aired.

Sir Joe welcomed comments from Owain Richards, noting that some allegations raised were previously examined through independent investigations, while others remain under review.

Sir Joe stressed that his comments about Operation Delhi were not directed at the Director of Public Prosecutions or his office, and was not questioning their independence or integrity.
