Social workers & team leaders complement to go up, says Minister at Care Agency awards

Plans to increase the complement of social workers and team leaders are going to be announced in this year's budget. 

This was revealed by the Health & Care Minister at the Care Agency awards. 

Recognition has been paid to staff at an awards ceremony celebrating achievements.

Janet Federico Award for Improving Social Work Practice and Standards in the Community – Ashleigh Coombes

Audrey Borastero Award for Resilience in the Face of Adversity – Care Team Ocean Village Flat

Glynis Pearson Compassion Award – Noelia Cabello & Laura Mackie

Jackie Palma Award – Tamara Gomez

Gina Caetano Rising Star Award – Simona Ciobanu
