Christmas Message: Governor touched by "remarkable community which is Gibraltar."

The Governor says he’s been touched by the remarkable community which is Gibraltar.

In his Christmas message, Sir Ben Bathurst describes it as diverse, tolerant, understanding and supportive.  Gibraltar, he says, is a place where people come together to make things work and get things done-with the focus firmly on building a bright future.

Sir Ben places the emphasis on the work of the services, encouraging every young person to serve Gibraltar as part of their career choice either in the Royal Gibraltar Regiment or in the uniformed services.

And it was to these services that he paid tribute, highlighting the plans for the year.
