The Disability Society is marking 60 years of advocating for young people with additional needs.

To celebrate, the Moorish Castle will be lit in red and white throughout this week.

Chairperson Debbie Borastero says the society's ethos has remained the same throughout its 60 years: to promote the welfare of all children with disabilities in Gibraltar and to improve facilities for their treatment, education and care.

Mrs Borastero highlighted some of the achievements over the years.
