Gibraltarian pilot brings the Easyjet flight from Gatwick home!

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to fly yourself home?

Julian Licudi did just that as an EasyJet pilot! He flew to Gibraltar for the first time as the first officer on the flight from Gatwick.

Julian studied law at Oxford Brookes University but decided to pursue a career in aviation.

He trained for his commercial pilot licence with a multi-engine and instrument rating in the United States, with further flying training in the UK, in order to obtain UK and EASA commercial pilot licences.

Julian started a type-rating programme in the Airbus 320 in January of this year.

Now stationed at Gatwick he’s been flying all over Europe.

Two weeks ago he flew his proud parents, Gilbert and Marcelle Licudi to Malaga.
