Government says all options being considered for design of new sundial roundabout centrepiece

Following storm damage to the Sundial last week, the Government says that all options are being considered for the design of a new roundabout centrepiece at the site on Winston Churchill Avenue.

In September, expressions of interest were invited for landmark structures at two key roundabouts - the Sundial and the Kingsway Tunnel entrance - aimed at celebrating Gibraltar’s heritage, identity and links with Britain.

Submissions closed in late October but the Government has not disclosed how many expressions of interest were received, limiting itself to saying that all options for the Sundial site are under consideration.
