GSD: No hiding place for ministers on Picardo No Confidence Vote

The GSD says there will be no hiding place for Ministers on whether to back or sack Fabian Picardo when the party’s Motion of No Confidence is debated in Parliament.

The Opposition notes that apart from Gemma Arias-Vasquez, none of the other Ministers have commented on the Inquiry Report or its serious findings, adding it is remarkable to think they can get away with silence.

The party says “silence is acquiescence” and that, sooner or later, all Ministers will have to declare their position — unless, it adds, the Chief Minister is afraid to allow a free vote and seeks to amend the No Confidence Motion to prevent Ministers from voting on whether they have confidence in him.
