Lifeguard & beach attendant service available from Easter

Limited lifeguard and beach attendant services will be available from Easter weekend this year.

Lifeguards will be at all beaches – apart from Western Beach. Beach attendants will be available at Camp Bay.

Easter weekend seems likely to be a sunny one and beach facilities will be available for those who fancy a dip.

Apart from Western Beach, lifeguards will be deployed at all beaches during this weekend and all weekends from now until the summer bathing season officially begins in June.

Beach attendants will be available at Camp Bay from this weekend to assist people with disabilities with access to the sea.

Attendants will help by providing accessible equipment and escorting people to the shoreline. There will also be amphibious wheelchairs available, showers, change place facilities for RADAR key holders and accessible parking bays.

This will be the case for every weekend until bathing season begins. Once it does, all beaches will have attendants in place – apart from Sandy Bay.

The GSLA Bathing Pavilion and Europa Pool will remain closed until the start of bathing season.
