Mayor of Algeciras steps down from Partido Popular roles amid Supreme Court complaint
The Mayor of Algeciras has given up his positions within Spain’s Partido Popular after the Algeciras branch of the Spanish Socialist party, took a complaint against him to the Supreme Court.
Despite stepping away from his roles with the Partido Popular, José Ignacio Landaluce says he will stay on as mayor and as a senator in the Spanish Senate.
