Nominations open for Mayor's Awards

The Mayor, Nicholas Guerrero, is reminding the public that nominations are open for the next Mayor’s Awards, which will take place in March.

The closing date for nominations is Friday the 6th of February.

The Mayor’s Awards are now a permanent feature of Gibraltar’s civic calendar and recognise outstanding individuals who have made a meaningful contribution to the community. Originally introduced as a lifesaving award for acts of exceptional bravery, the scheme was later expanded to include people who have served Gibraltar with distinction over time, or through a specific achievement or event.

Nomination forms are available from the Mayor of Gibraltar’s website or from City Hall, and must be returned to the Mayor’s Office or emailed by the closing date.
