Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal has extended her Royal Patronage of the Gibunco Gibraltar Literary Festival for a further three years.

The Government says the event is an example of its event led tourism strategy and demonstrates Gibraltar's capacity to organise quality international events that continue to place Gibraltar on the map.

It adds, the patronage is also significant in that it highlights the festival's importance in promoting literature and cultural diversity in Gibraltar and abroad.

Culture and Tourism Minister Christian Santos said the Princess Royal's continued Patronage is testament to the festival's prestige and success. He says the Government will continue to build on previous editions and deliver another festival packed with leading authors and celebrities.
