Around 20 residents of the hostel at the site of Queen's Hotel protested outside Number Six Convent Place on Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for the group told GBC their rights were being ignored while the hotel was falling apart.

He said residents were living in very poor conditions with no hot water, little electricity and water ingress.

The protester warned that the Moroccan community were large enough to "make or break a party."
